MEET THE BAND
Luke Tyler
Originally from Vancouver BC, Luke was surrounded by all types of music having 8 older brothers and sisters. He started playing guitar in junior high school and jammed with friends until work got in the way after graduation. After moving to Quesnel he rekindled his love for playing guitar and with a push from his girlfriend, from the band "no big d", he started looking for others to form a band of his own. Shortly after he met Martin, Jade and Grant, where they started forming the foundation that would later become 13 MOONS.
Jade LeRose
Inspired by 80's bands Jade LaRose is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and inventor from the small town of Quesnel BC Canada who loves to rock on any instrument she can find. She is an artist who will leave you deaf and feeling numb with her unique guitar playing and relatable lyrics. Her interest in music started at an early age listening to various genre's of music and later singing when she was 6 in music class. She played the recorder from grade 4 to grade 7 where her friend handed her his guitar in April 2009 during music class. She found her first guitar on her 13th birthday laying in a garbage pile missing a string and the bridge broken in half. Over a decade later Jade is not only playing bass in bands but also doing audio and lighting production
Grant Deachman
Grant is a seasoned professional dating back to the dawn of man where, as a child, he would use woolly mammoth tusks and beat them on the sculls of his enemies to celebrate his victories. Gaining great skill from this he brings a distinct heart beat to 13 MOONS.
Martin Jahnke
Martin was born and raised in eastern Canada on a family Tobacco farm. He grew a passion for music at an early age. learning to play the guitar on his own led to a distinct sound and writing his own songs and shaping his melodic voice would lead him down a road of self discovery and wonder.
